This is a sampler quilt where you will learn different
techniques and options used while learning to quilt. The class is 8 weeks, and you can join at any point.
Marcia is here every Monday teaching. So come, meet new friends, while learning to quilt.

Dutch Quilters Silk Ribbon Appliqué (Tulip or Iris) $30

* This is a 2 day class that will give you the opportunity to make this beautiful wall hanging. The Dutch Quilter makes
such beautiful appligue wall hangings which are trimmed with hott silk ribbon. No two are alike even with the same kits are
used because you learn to shade with pens and embellishments. There are two hangings in the shop- so come in and see,
you are sure to get excited!!
Grommet Purse & Wallet $15

*This is a fun, easy purse to make. With many possibilities. So if you need something fun to do grab some friends and
come on it.

* This is a kid’s class. You will be making pillows using a fun technique. It is worth a look. Grab a friend or two and
have a great time this summer.
Screwdriver and Fusible Appliqué $20
Monday, July 12 from 6-9pm
Teacher: Marcia Mulder
*Bring in your own appliqué project and have Marcia teach you how to turn under the edges with a screwdriver, glue and
freezer paper. . If you would like to see a sample of the technique, come in and look at the Vintage Valentine Block of the
Month Quilt. Or, bring in an appliqué project and learn to use fusible web so you can get the project completed faster.
Quilt as you go without Sashing $25
Saturday, July 24th from 1pm – 4pm
Teacher: Marcia Mulder
* Struggling with quilting a big quilt on your basic machine? Learn this technique. Quilt each block as you make it and
then sew the blocks together. With this new technique you do not sew on any extra sashing. If you would like to see a
sample of the technique, come in and look at the Vintage Valentine Block of the Month Quilt.

*If you can draw it, then you can quilt it. Come in and learn to stipple while doing a little free motion quilting.

*This is a great quilt to start out with. This would be fun for all ages and skill levels. One of those grab your friends and

Retreat Days $5/day

*One must not forget the Retreat Days. This is where you come in and sew the entire day. We are on hand to lend a
hand, advice or even commiserate if needed. Coffee is available as well. Call and reserve a space.
CLUBS
Batik Club
1st Saturday each month from 1-3pm

*This is a club where you have benefits! Each month you will be the first to receive 5 to 7 cuts of new batiks, and a as
well as purchase more before the fabric is ever put on the shelves for the general public. Each member will receive a
Membership Card which entitles you to 20% off of your batik purchases, On the 1st Saturday of each month you will have
20% off storewide.
This year we will be bringing our machines on occasion and working on projects, learning different types of
embellishments. This January we will be learning to make dragon fly wings using Angelina Fibers, wire and your iron.
1930's Club
3rd Saturday each month from 10am-12noon

Tangled Threads has created a special club just for folks who love 1930’s fabric. Each month there will be new fabrics
and projects for club members only.

M.E.O.W. Club
Last Monday night of the month from 6pm-9pm
*You’ll have different teachers, projects and techniques to learn each time. Bring in your ordinary sewing machine,
learn to use it to make extraordinary works of art. You don’t need an expensive machine!! Come and experience the fun,
we would love to see you.
